Our Story
wm996 was founded with one straightforward objective: to give Malaysian players a genuinely reliable, fair, and exciting online gaming destination that actually understands the local market. From Kuala Lumpur to Penang, from Johor Bahru to Petaling Jaya — we know Malaysian players have been underserved for too long by platforms built elsewhere with no real appreciation of local needs.
The platform was designed ground-up around Malaysian realities. That means full MYR support from the very first ringgit deposited, seamless integration with the payment channels Malaysians already use daily — Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX, Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, and Hong Leong Bank — and customer support that operates in Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and English across Malaysian Standard Time.
Today, wm996 is home to hundreds of thousands of active players who log in for live dealer casino action, premium slot sessions, Mix Parlay football bets on the EPL and Liga Super Malaysia, UFC fight night wagers, and much more. We are proud of the community we've built and the trust our players have placed in us.
We operate under international gaming licensing standards, holding ourselves to the same responsible gambling and player protection requirements that the world's most respected gaming operators follow. Player safety, fair play, and transparent terms are not marketing language for us — they are the minimum standard we enforce daily.
Our Mission
To deliver the most trusted, entertaining, and locally-relevant online gaming experience in Malaysia. We combine international-standard technology with a deep understanding of what Malaysian players actually want — fast local payments, fair bonuses with honest terms, live sports coverage of the leagues they follow, and support in their own language.
Every product decision at wm996 is evaluated against a single question: does this make the experience genuinely better for our Malaysian members?
Our Vision
To be the number-one online gaming destination for Malaysian players by 2027 — not through marketing volume alone, but through genuine product excellence, unmatched payment convenience, and a responsible gambling programme that actually works.
We envision a gaming ecosystem where every player in Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Penang, or Johor Bahru can access world-class casino games and sports betting markets instantly, safely, and entirely in MYR.
Our Core Values
These aren't corporate slogans — they shape every decision we make at wm996.
We publish our game RTPs, set realistic wagering requirements, and never hide withdrawal conditions in fine print. If we say your bonus is 288%, that is exactly what you get.
Our platform is engineered for uptime. Deposits are processed in seconds, withdrawals are approved within the hour, and our servers maintain 99.9% availability even during peak EPL matchday traffic.
We localise everything — currency, language, payment methods, customer support hours, and sports coverage. Malaysia is not an afterthought for us; it's the entire focus.
Responsible gambling tools — self-exclusion, deposit limits, loss limits, and reality checks — are built into every player account. We enforce 21+ age verification and take problem gambling seriously.
We actively collect player feedback from our communities in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor Bahru and use it to drive real product updates. Our roadmap is shaped by our members.
From casual RM20 slot players to high-stakes live Baccarat regulars, every wm996 member receives the same standard of service, security, and fair treatment.
What Makes wm996 Different
Six reasons players across Malaysia trust wm996 for their online gaming.
Every transaction on wm996 is denominated in Malaysian Ringgit. There are no hidden currency conversion charges, no foreign transaction fees, and no confusion over exchange rates. Deposit RM100, see RM100 in your wallet.
Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX, Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, and Hong Leong Bank are all natively integrated — not patched-on workarounds. Deposits arrive instantly; withdrawals process faster than most platforms in Malaysia.
From Pragmatic Play slots like Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza to live dealer tables by Evolution Gaming and SEXY Baccarat — all games on wm996 are certified by independent testing labs and display verified RTP figures.
Liga Super Malaysia, EPL, La Liga, Serie A, UEFA Champions League, UFC, and more — all covered with live in-play odds. Mix Parlay is fully supported, as is Asian Handicap and Over/Under on every major match.
Our support team operates around the clock in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin Chinese. Live chat average response is under 3 minutes — verified by internal quality monitoring, not just a marketing claim.
256-bit SSL encryption, segregated player funds, independent RNG certification, strict 21+ age verification, and a full suite of responsible gambling tools — self-exclusion, deposit limits, loss limits, and reality checks — protect every wm996 member.
Our Journey
Building wm996 into a platform Malaysian players genuinely rely on has been a deliberate, step-by-step process. Here are the key milestones that have shaped who we are today.
wm996 launched with a focused Malaysian player base, integrating DuitNow and FPX from day one — a first among platforms targeting this market at the time.
Following player demand, Touch 'n Go eWallet and Boost were integrated as primary deposit channels, bringing truly instant funding to mobile-first Malaysian players.
We expanded our sportsbook to cover Liga Super Malaysia with dedicated Mix Parlay support — a product feature driven entirely by feedback from our football-loving Malaysian community.
Cryptocurrency became an increasingly popular choice among Malaysian players seeking privacy and borderless transfers. We added full USDT TRC20 deposit support with transparent processing timelines.
wm996 today serves hundreds of thousands of active Malaysian players with a continuously expanding game library, competitive welcome bonuses, and a platform infrastructure built to scale reliably.

Our Commitment to Malaysian Payments
One of the most common frustrations Malaysian players have with other platforms is payment friction — deposits that bounce, withdrawals that take days, and customer service that can't explain why. We built wm996 to fix exactly that.
Every payment integration on wm996 was selected because it is genuinely used and trusted by Malaysians in their daily lives. We don't offer obscure payment channels as an afterthought — we offer the ones you already have on your phone right now.
Withdrawals are processed promptly. We publish realistic processing time ranges — not the "instant always" claims some platforms make and routinely fail to deliver on. If a bank transfer takes 5–10 minutes, we say 5–10 minutes. Honest timelines build trust, and trust is the foundation of everything we do.

Our Commitment to Responsible Gambling
wm996 takes responsible gambling seriously — not as a compliance checkbox, but as a genuine obligation to our players and the communities they come from. We know that for a small number of players, gambling can become a problem, and we have a responsibility to provide the tools and resources to help.
Every registered wm996 account has access to self-exclusion, daily and weekly deposit limits, session loss limits, and reality check reminders. These tools are accessible at any time from your account settings and take effect immediately upon activation.
We strictly enforce 21+ age requirements through our KYC verification process. Gambling is entertainment — it should never be treated as a source of income. If you or someone you know may have a gambling problem, we encourage reaching out to support services.
